Spaghetti aglio olio


Spaghetti aglio olio is one of the simplest yet tasty Italian dish you can make. All you need is Spaghetti pasta, Garlic and Olive oil [can use any flavor less oil if you do not have olive oil], crushed red pepper flakes (optional. If you saved the one from pizza deliveries) and Parsley for garnish [Cilantro can be used as alternate].


Ingredients:
2 Heads of Garlic
2 Tablespoons of Oil
1 Serving of Spaghetti
2 Tablespoons of Salt
Pinch of Crushed red pepper flakes














Preparation Method:
Step 1:
Peel and finely chop the Garlic.













Step 2:
Heat the Oil in a pan and add the chopped garlic. Sauté the garlic till it turns little brown on the edges, now is when you add the chilli flakes and let it cook with the garlic for about 30 seconds.












Step 3:
In a different high walled pan boil about a liter of water. We want water enough to cook the pasta. Add the 2 tablespoon of salt and once water start to boil add the pasta. Read the instruction in the pasta cover to know the cooking time.












Step 4:
Once pasta cooked to your preference add it to the pan with garlic oil. Along with the pasta add about 4 tablespoons of pasta water. On a medium heat toss the pasta in the garlic oil and till the pasta water cooks off [evaporates].












Step 5:
Finely chop the parsley/cilantro and add to the pan. Serve it while hot and Enjoy. A Simple way to surprise your partner with some cooking.. “Happy Cooking”
